I'm not sure if Hitachi use the same fulfillment company, but i've read many stories of people not being able to get their rebate.

The same fulfillment company as what, #1? Many stories of failed rebates from what store? On what product? Maybe you can give a bit of context or detail or support or well, anything.

Hitachi rebate is a scam.
All these were posted in March:
...I bought same drive in November and rebate is still
...processing
...the fulfillment house for this ZipZoomfly/Hitachi rebate
...is the same one that keeps delaying me on my valid rebate
...from October 2008.
...I never got the rebate from November. I emailed them and
...they told me I would receive it in 15 days. Its now been
...30 days since that.
...A few months ago, I paid about $70 AR. Still waiting for

...I bought a hitachi 1T from TD last Dec and am still waiting
...for $30 rebate to come.
