Microcenter has had this processor for $230 for the past 5 months. They even had an April 1st sale for $199.

Yes, good point. This is still decent for those who don't have a Microcenter nearby, as some if not all of those deals were pickup only. I could be wrong but they don't seem to have these on their website at the moment.

edit: nvm, found it for $230 at MicroCenter (in-store p/u only). Thanks, #2.

#4, click the fucking link and READ.

Holy hell, are you lazy. It took more energy to post that than to actually look at the target page.

    For all the RTFM ass-smarts.
This link gave you no info on power consumption and other important characteristics. Therefore I asked.

I just ordered one. I must be a glutton for punishment... ordered a GTX 295 from dell about a month ago and it still hasn't shipped, i doubt it ever will (since it was 349.99 they'll probably just delay my order until my credit card expires)

    Howdy fellas,

Soooo, how good is this I7??? Wouldn't it be better to go with the 9650 1330hz 12mb Cache Chip??? I think that might be a better way to go. I7 is still too new.
