Bought four of these in different promotions, all work great. The signal strength is doubled at least comparing to regular PCI adapter. It also can be set to a wireless access point with the bundled software. Don't understand why abit sales it so cheap.

Has anyone received their rebate from Abit? Bought this last Novemeber. Abit web site does not acknowledge receipt of the rebate. They also don't respond to emails or phone calls.
I like the cord extension but I need PCI for my older PC's.
Agreed I need PCI. If I were to get any new adapter at this time though I'd probably get an N adapter although they do cost a lot more than $1.
#3, I've got my rebate from abit/newegg within two months back then in Oct 07. But the other three from ClubIT (two rebates each), one on BF is still waiting, one on Xmas and one on this month's are fairly new cliams. ClubIT has notifified me receiving confirmation of my rebates but I haven't heard anything from abit yet. Since I think abit's rebates are proccessed by outsourced third party, so I don't even bother to check on abit's website. Let's wait and see.
FYI, this only works with windows XP and Vista.
