kinda cool but rebates are a pain
Got this a few months back, paid about 6$ AR. Good deal. works fine , leeching off someones wifi with it. Program also easy to use.
Not compatible with Windows 64-bit
I haven't used abit brand before, but I like having the cabled antenna for a PCIe card. Most PCIe designs use a gooseneck antenna attached to the card which is just this side of useless.

Make sure your system has the new PCI-express slot... this won't fit in a traditional PCI-based system.
Got one from Neweggs a few months ago too. Rebate came back quickly. Using PCLe and signal is much stronger. Also can be used as an access point with software provided. Very cool. I am going to get another one this time.

I think the checkout was broken because it was sold out. I'm not sure why it didn't just say sold out. It was quite a while before it was denoted as sold out. I responded as soon as Ben posted and could never get through checkout.
Ben is sometimes slow and with the purchasing power/speed of places like FW.com, deals are gone before it's posted here.

Email from today shows this item in their Cyber Monday sale starting at 1230 AM PST Monday. Other items listed in the sale show SO as well. I'm planning to check back early tomorrow morning to see if it's back in stock.

Do a lot of new systems have these slots. . .I have seen them mostly on servers. . .so I guess you can put your servers in a closet and have them wireless connect to the AP upstaits. . .not sure why you would want servers on wireless. . .lol.
