Amazon has the Above All Forearm Forklift Lifting Straps for $12 with free shipping on $25. Makes moving large heavy items a breeze by providing handles on any hard-to-handle pieces. Features a 600lb capacity, 48 inches of adjustable strap, and reduces weight of item being carried by 66%.
"Reduces weight of item being carried by 66%"... So I'm thinking of getting 2 sets of straps to reduce the 600lbs to about 260lbs. I don't know how that is possible as it goes against all physics laws, but since it defined here at Bens, it must be true.
In all seriousness, spend a little more and get the over-the-shoulder version of these. They do help lifting heavy objects simply because you can get a better grip on them. So someone with weak wrists/hands can more easily pick up bulky/heavy items.
#3 12 years ago, I first saw deliver guys lift my newly brought 65" projection HDTV up the front staircase with ease with this straps. No, you cannot use forklift there.
"reduces weight of item being carried by 66%"
My brain hurt after reading that...
Why anyone would buy these over the something like "Teamstrap" is beyond me. Hope you dont mind broken arms or dislocated elbows.
The real question is if you have a forklift, why do you need straps to lift it?
