These actually do work.
These can also be converted to cat harnesses. An easier, albeit less efficient solution. Not recommended for those with hardwood floors unless your cat is declawed.
Now I just need to find someone that sells lifting straps so I have a way to lift the furniture to put these lifting straps under it. Wait.

The point is you aren't lifting with your back, giving you more stamina and decreasing chances of a back injury. I've tried them and they help.
Great. Now I can return the forklift I just bought. Just have to find a couple of dopes to use this.
