Don't expect to run anything with a high amp draw with this adapter. I couldn't find any specs but a reviewer said an aircompressor wouldn't work. Fine for phone cargers, etc.
I own an adapter that has the same exact shape, LED placement, and indentations as this adapter, but the label is different than the one you can see in the little picture. Output listed on mine is 13.5v / 550-650mA. I bought mine to power a little FM transmitter and it works well for that purpose.
The way this adapter plugs into an AC source is nice because it won't block adjacent outlets on a wall plate or most power strips. Some adapters of this sort have the DC output perpendicular to the blades on the AC input and may block adjacent AC outlets.
I've got a portable DVD player that won't play through the wall adapter for some reason but works well through the car adapter. Problem solved with this little device.
#1, I don't know what the hell you're talking about but I put a 240W AC convert into it and ran it just fine. It'll heat up a whole lot though, fyi.
