You could find a brand new one with this price plus 1 year full warranty instead of 90 days for refurbished.

Spend the extra $100 and get the core 2 duo based Inspiron 1525 from Dell's refurb outlet.

I just got one last week for $580 that has 802.11a/b/g/n, a core 2 duo running at 2.16Ghz, a 320GB hard drive and 3GB of RAM. Oh yeah, and it has the upgraded (high pixel count) glossy 15.4" screen, a built in 2MP camera and loads of other nice features like HDMI out...

The deal was through here, there is another one running through tomorrow linked a couple of days ago on this site...

I challenge you to find these specs for less ANYWHERE.

This is a good deal and the only bad comments people made abt it is that it gets hot on your lap after awhile and that the battery only lasts 2 hours at full load and that it is loaded up with bloatware that must be uninstalled.

And the negative points above apply to most of the competitors as well. 90 day refurbished warranty is the only caveot that I see.

Click thru Rebation and get an extra 8.25% cashback. And unless you live in California Massachusetts Tennessee New York you pay no sales tax (Another 7% savings).

So add up the numbers and you will see that this is a hot price.

      I wouldn't trust a refurb'ed laptop.
