Why a 22" monitor is this cheap? and It has 5 ms response time. Anybody has this one?
any opininons about this?
They are charging $8 recycling fee. This doesn't make any sense.
burp, this has excellent reviews (403 reviews at 5 stars overall) on Newegg, and good reviews on Amazon as well. I would have bought one, but it's unavailable at all stores in town... but that's not really surprising given that we're talking about WorstBuy here.
I bought one from Office Depot for $180 after price match to Staples plus a $70 rebate. The panel is very nice. The stand is a POS, butyou can buy a superb Neoflex stand from Staples for $30 more.
Sold out everywhere in Houston... had to order one in San Antonio. They are plentiful there.
I ordered it online this morning. Picked it up at the store and I'm using it now. Very nice monitor, bright and clear. The stand does look a little cheap, but it that's okay. Can't complain much for $190
I'm looking at one right now (that I bought for $40 more than this). Awesome monitor. Flimsy stand is a common complaint, but unless you have a toddler or dog around, I can't see why.
why so cheap? appears because it is a 6-bit (TN) LCD technology, and not the higher-end standard 8-bit.
supposedly this causes coloring problems, but the only coloring problems i encountered is that the LCD's controls are brain-dead (colors not set by temperature/SRGB, but by "warm", "cool", or percentages (0-100)). so it took me an hour or two of fiddling with the controls to get the LCD to look right compared to the 19" viewsonic i bought a year ago (and the 20" nec i have at work and every other LCD i've ever used).
but for ~$200 two or three months ago at bestbuy, it's my only complaint.
