i have this monitor and i like it. bought it last summer when bestbuy sold it for $180 (and haven't seen a 22" name brand monitor sell for that little without rebate since).

no dead pixels. a little bit of backlight bleed-through along the edges, but i hardly notice and from what i read other budget lcds have the same problem. stand is not adjustable except for tilting up & down, and not much range.

took a while to manually tune the colors (gamma) until they looked right on various tests. overly bright by default.

the power converter recently popped and i had to send the lcd in. turn-around was fast: 5 business days. probably helps that ground shipping to/from the repair center only requires a day from my location. the lcd screen left without a blemish and arrived back the same way.

#2, according to that article all retailers are affected by the economic slow down. In fact the article states that Circuit City will be even harder hit.

Note: I don't give a crap about either company.

    Don't wait, just buy it:

Save some money and don't buy it at bestbuy though.

22" is very big... don't wanna have a monster screen occupied all my desk space... my desk is not like a TV stand.

My 24" seemed really big at first, but now that I've had it for many months, it doesn't feel all that big anymore. Desk space is not really a problem because the LCD monitor takes up a tiny amount of space compared to the 19" CRT that it replaced. I can lay down a nice big book on my desk in front of my 24" LCD, couldn't do that with the CRT.

#11, if you think the 24" is small, try going back to the 19".
