      Got an Acer with almost the same specs as this last year for $450. The battery pack is now totally dead - I probably got 100 cycles out of it Sad
      The computer works beautifully for everything but gaming. The screen is the brightest I've ever used in a notebook.

      This is a great deal for a notebook with these specs. I agree with #1 that gaming is a bit beyond it but laptops really shouldn't be used for gaming due to the heat generated. A good screen size and numberpad go a long way, though I'd be worried that the keyboard may feel a bit cramped.
