This is a great little computer.

If you need a travel laptop or want one to keep in your car when your on the go this is it.

I have it running Microsoft office 2003 with no problem. Battery life is very good. No more lugging around the beast 15" Gateway.

OK yes it is a good price but Acer should be putting in at least 2 GB ram, what the f*%# it would only cost $10 or $20 more to give us a 150% better computer with 2 GB. The most you can have is 1.5GB of Ram now.

I picked up a small Bluetooth adapter to run mouse( I got the Microsoft mini bluetooth mouse) and sync to
cell phone. Acer should put bluetooth on this model.

Color Blue, not bad shows lots of finger prints. Power adapter is a little bit to big for this unit. They give you a huge power cord Why? My guess is the guy who designed the laptop was thinking small, compact, good thin.

Guy who made power adapter used to design Nuclear Power Plants and was a bigger is better type person.

I do have problem with viewing my security camera system. Some times the video flickers. I need to look into this more.

I also need to let you know.

      there is no AGP Slot!

I don't think any laptop has an available AGP slot .. Wink

You can upgrade the memory yourself as there is an available slot of the RAM ... however you basically have to disassemble the entire unit:

Yes, I see the 3 cell listing at the bottom now. I would rather have XP and the better battery for $329.

You can upgrade the RAM to 2GB if you run Linux...for you Micro$oft XP Home people...this version of the neutered OS won't cache usernames or passwords, furthermore it won't address +1.5G of RAM either. You can obviously gut out XP Hm and install XP Pro. =P

MSI Q2 is 10 inches, a larger keyboard, and pretty much has the same specs for $30 less. Is there a significant difference that I'm missing?

^ Staples one is OOS. It only comes with a 3-cell battery.

      Buy.com comes with 6-cell battery.
