This is a good deal on a
    Knock Knock.
    Who's there?
    Bacon.
    Bacon who?
little system. Runs XBMC like a champ and plays 1080p content no problem. This one is a refurb, but I'm still considering getting a second one.

I think the key question is refub'd by WHO? If Acer is refurbishing and certifying, then this is a good deal. If this is PC Connection selling it as "refurb" then they're doing little more than selling used gear.

I have one as well and LOVE it with XBMC!

are you running windows xbmc or linux/live xbmc? I was running the linux version for a while but recently switched to windows (since the DXVA update in the nightly builds). I was annoyed that the new nvidia driver for linux killed multichannel audio via hdmi...so now I'm running the windows version in win7 and I'm very happy with it.

Newegg has it for 200 and 10 shipping, and there's no tax. (Unless you are NJ)
Tigerdirect also has it for 210, no shipping. Between the two, you are set.

Link doesn't seem to work any more... must have sold out... so I guess the point is moot. This thing is a good deal even at $200.

I just got this from amazon last week and it was 199, but looks like they bumped it to 209. Still worth it in my book.

That's why god invented the PS3. 1080p content. Divx on thumbdrive. Plays most everything you throw at it. That being said, this was on woot or 1saleaday for slightly less (if I remember correctly) last week.

#10, but this has internet access, allows you to run any Windows programs, is smaller, and oh....only about 100-300 less depending on the PS3 model. sorry, no comparison.

#11. How would online work on a PS3 without an internet connection. And if you already own a PS3, spending $159 more on a product you already have (minus windows programs) certainly doesn't save you any money.
