i bought this monitor from staples on black fri two years ago for this price and i like it, though i wonder how long the backlight is going to last. as time goes by it seems the backlight takes longer and longer to get to full brightness after being turned on (physical switch or video signal). it's not excessive (ie minutes), but every few months of use seems to add an additional second to get to full brightness.
it's a tn panel, so the colors aren't great, but a colorimeter really helped (i use a colorhug under linux to not only get the colors right, but to get my dual screens to match), but it's $100, though i'm wondering how long before cheap led-backlit lcds drop to this price.
