I've had a lot of flat screen TVs and Monitors in my life and I never imagined I'd see something with such a tiny viewing range.

My darks just don't get very dark. ... I have an Acer G235H sitting right next to it on my other computer, and the colors are incredibly vibrant and the image is crystal clear. I've tried matching the settings, and the Acer G215HV just doesn't even come close.

Extremely washed out terrible viewing angle My coworker had to prop it up just so it was the at the right height to correctly see the screen. Even at correct height it is terribly washed out. no adjustable stand means you can't even tilt it to view correctly.

it's the highest contrast LCD I've ever laid eyes on. Even cranked up to full brightness, the black levels are comparable to my macbook's at minimum brightness. For every LCD I've ever owned, the blacks eventually become grey as you turn up the brightness. On this monitor, it stays very black, and that's kind of incredible.

I can view it from much wider angles than my previous monitors.
This is a low-end monitor. No LED lighting, TN panel.
Today there is an HP 21.5" LED backlit MVS(rather than TN) LCD screen on sale for $85, shipped. MVS screens give much better contrast, noticeably better color reproduction, and larger viewing angles compared to TN sceens. The one caveat is that it only has a Display Port input.
