Is it just me, or are the stands getting cheaper and cheaper to cut costs?

Not a very good price. There have been 22" monitors listed here for $120-$130 over the past few days. Now that the price fixing has been dealt with I'd expect prices on this size monitor to continue to fall.

I bought this monitor a few weeks ago when it first dropped to $182 and it's a fantastic monitor. Zero dead pixels, really fast shipping, and probably the best sub $200 LCD out there. The 22'' monitors listed here before that were going for $130-$160 were all 1680x1050 resolution sans HDMI input with dynamic contrast ratios around 2500:1. I'd strongly recommend this monitor to anyone in the market for a new budget LCD with fantastic specs (the 1080p/HDMI combo really is quite nice).

love the res, would replace my 24" with this if it were 1920x1200, the pixel pitch is perfect for me.

Might be on the squintastic side - but damn this is a mouthwatering alternative to dual monitors.

I've been looking at this one and the Asus VH226H. I've been told that the Acer brand is fairly unreliable. Still, this seems like a great deal. Is it worth an extra $20 to get the Asus?

Can't go wrong with Acer and the price. I use two Acer monitors at work and they're great and affordable

Bought this monitor 3 weeks ago for the same price. Got my $20 Paypal cashback 2 weeks after purchase. Picture is superb with Blu-Ray player via HDMI @1080p, however built-in speaker is a little weak. I use analog VGA connection to my PC and 1920 x 1080 pixels allow me to open 4 browsers easily at the same time. Color is vivid, crisp and no dead pixel. Acer chose not to have crystal view (reflective screen coat) on this one, so the contrast may not be comparable some newer Acer and HP laptops. But I think a non-reflective screen is better in my case as my room is always well lit. My main complain is the height is not adjustable, only the tilt angle.
