True, #1, but this is still a nice tablet. I have no experience with refurb units, but bought a new A500 last July from Staples for $300 after coupon. Dual core 1GHz CPU, 1280x800 capacitive screen with 10-point multi-touch, 1GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage with a micro SDHC slot for additional expansion, built-on HDMI and USB ports, Bluetooth, etc. Battery life is 8+ hours with normal use. Android HC 3.2 is currently available for the A500 with ICS 4.0 being released in April.
