This is an awesome tablet. I bought a non-refurbished unit back in July and like it a lot.

Specs include 10.1" capacitive screen with 10-point multi-touch, HDMI output, USB host (connect flash drives, keyboard/mouse, etc.), USB slave (connect the tablet to your PC as a big flash drive), micro SDHC slot for storage expansion, Honeycomb 3.2 is available via automatic updates.

This is a winner, I thought I got a good deal at $399 plus $50 gift card from target. Can't miss.

Yes, I got one in trade on CL, it's fantastic, with a 32gb card inserted it's at 48gig, has wifi, micro-hdmi, we run netflix on it at honeycomb 3.2, huge battery, with blueooth stereo speakers it's a mini theater.

      you won't regret it.

If you're too cheap then get a Nook color. Hack it with CM7 and it overclocks to 1.2 Ghz and unlocks bluetooth. Battery life is all-day-plus and 3G access is via blue tooth tethering to my phone.

I bought a Nook and flashed it with CM7. Worked for a few days then started freezing then wouldn't book up at all. Also flashed two other generic tablets with Android/CM7 and neither worked so well. Honestly I am done with this hack/flash business.

Your Nook must have had some other problem. They can boot from an SD card so it's almost impossible to brick a nook unless you cook the CPU with an Oclocked kernel. Even then it's hard because it'll just crash too much before you cook the CPU.
