Best Buy has the refurbished Acer Iconia A500-10S16U 10" Android 3.0 16GB Tablet (XE.H60PN.002) for $300 with free free in-store pickup or $9 shipping. Features Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS.
I bought one of these from Staples for $300 in July when they had a "$100-off tablets" coupon in circulation, and like it a lot. Mine's not refurbished, though. Acer has released Honeycomb 3.2 for the A500, so be sure and update the OS when prompted (charge your battery first or plug in the AC adapter).
This is my personal tablet, but I use it at work sometimes for network administration. I can connect via VPN, remote desktop, SSH, VNC, etc., and perform most any admin tasks.
I went out of town last weekend and carried the A500, a micrbacono-HDMI cable, and a wireless USB keyboard/trackball combo. I hooked it up the the LCD TV at the hotel and was able to surf, watch videos, play games, etc. It was pretty cool and more convenient than carrying a laptop.
ps: Check out Amazon.com's "Free Android App of the Day". I've gotten all sorts of cool paid apps and games from them for free.
The $300 question, does it play Angry Birds? And the $150 question, does it have FLASH? Ever lovin' Flash? and the $75 question, does it trounce the ipad? and the $37.50 question, will it get me chicks? and the.... well I cant do math beyond that but it is NOT Apple and I love it already so yeah .... In your face apple. Xoom rocks!!! Well this rocks yeah!
