One of the better tablets out right now. And with the $70 discount from normal retail, its a good price. The 3 . 1 update has not come to it yet, but soon. Many overlook this tab for the Asus Transformer($400) and its IPS screen and dock($150 more). While a good tablet too. Many on forums complain of more bugs, light bleed from the screen, and general issues with build quality. And since I wanted USB on my tablet. Something the Asus has to dock to have, I went for the Acer and have been very happy for about the last month that I have had it. As for the bad with the Iconia. Some have wi-fi issues where it disconnects occasionally. And some have had an issue where it wakes from sleep and turns the screen on for a few seconds then goes back to sleep. Since the update it recieved a week ago, I have had none of those problems.
If Asus or the Acer above are not yout flavor. There is always the Motorola Xoom($570 SD slot issues). Soon Toshiba Thrive($429 bit thicker, removable battery) and many look forward to the Samsung Tab 10.1(likely to have the updates the quickest)
But for right this minute and likely from what has been announced for the next few months. I am still happy with the Acer. But if on the fence waiting, $380 is the lowest of the current gen tabs that will have the newest tech and OS. Now waiting till christmas may net you the second gen tablets with the quad core chipsets, but that likely will show up next year.
