      One thing that looks bad in reviews - the touchscreen lays a visible grid over the display. Maybe not as bad as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Game.com , but I'd want to see it in person before buying.

      toshiba thrive comes out next month! 10". tegra 2, 1gb ram, takes full size sD cards, hdmi out, usb and usb micro, rated for 9 hours of constant HD video, 90 minute quick charge to 90% battery, $429. Looks awesome!

      That "grid" that you're referring to doesn't appear until you move icons around the screen, then it shows you the spacing and where they will fall. Otherwise, it's a non-issue. As you said, see it for yourself. People find all kinds of things wrong with any (other) product so that they can justify their purchase. Make your decisions on your own observations, where possible - and get what works for you.
