i rather pay 50 bucks more for a 24 dell
i agree... i bought this monitor last year for 130.
#1, $200 for a 24" shipped from Dell? Can you tell me where the deal is? I'm looking for one, seriously.
#3: You know, if you're looking for a sale on a monitor, sometimes it is really helpful if you go to a "deal finder" site, that lists good sales on items like that.
There is this really great one called "BensBargains.net". Try going there and checking out the monitor section. You may just find $200 Dell 24" monitors like these ones:

A decent 22" monitor. I got it a while back for around $120 and it's pretty nice. Like any LCD it takes a bit of tweaking to get the colors the way you want it.

Compwiz17, I checked Dell last night and saw those in the links. They are now well above $200. The S2409W is $232 shipped now. The other is $254 + shipping and tax.
I am looking at the S2309W, approx. $169 shipped. No HDMI and USB. But I would pay $200 for the S2409W in a heartbeat. I'm waiting a little bit more, may be.
Beware of this model's infamous "no detection" problem. I sold mine years ago.
