A good budget monitor. I've been using one for a while now and I've never had any problems with it. Decent price, I got mine for $126 with a coupon.

"Budget" only in a price sense. It's better than budget-quality. It's THE highest-rated LCD monitor on Newegg out of more than 200.

my brother picked one up from Costco about 1 month ago for $145 or maybe $149 (plus tax) and free shipping...

He's been very happy with it.

mine must have been a lemon - came with 5 dead pixels ( min. of 6 for a return ) - than died at 1 year 1 month - just past the warranty - just my luck

Hey #4, if you bought it with a Visa signature card, certain MasterCards, or an American Express card, they double the manufacturer's warranty on warrantees of one year or less.

No pixel problems on mine. My previous ViewSonic cost more than twice as much and had one stuck pixel.

No pixel problems on mine. The only thing I don't like is the viewing angle from top to bottom. If you look at the middle of the screen, the top is a little too dark and the bottom is a little too bright. My ViewSonic was consistent throughout.

OK, #7/8 - it's time to call BS here!

Aren't you the same poster who regularly ranted about widescreen monitors and called everyone who showed interest something like "mathematically-challenged suckers"? And all that time you admittedly had how many widescreen monitors of your own? Sheesh - way to go, Forrest...
