Monitor deal is at Tigerdirect like the title says, not Newegg like the description.
I picked this monitor up a couple of deals ago and it's a good low end 22". Like most LCDs it takes a bit of tweaking to get the colors too look good. Whites are a little washed out but not bad for the price.
#1 is correct. I've had one for about a year now. I disagree about the whites, they are fine on mine. Main limitation is that contrast fades with increasing off axis viewing angle, but that is not important for relatively straight on desktop use.
Also, the stand, as on most of this kind, is crummy. You can get a good 3rd party stand for about $40 if you look very hard.
