#5, SysteMax bought out the CompUSA name about a year ago, directly after they began closing all their stores. Most are now re-opened in the southeast region of the US.
In fact, I got some really great deals when they had their closeouts going on
And yes, I believe CompUSA also purchased some of TigerDirect in a separate acquisition.
This is a nice monitor for this price
So it's like CompUSA owns TD, Which in turn is all owned by Systemax. TD is in need of a complete turn around as Customer service complaints rose by nearly 20% in 2008 compared to the previous 3 years.
