22" for $165 sounds like a good deal to me... what's too good to be true?
i think i may get this
This is becoming the standard "deal" price for this size budget monitor. The specs are not the best but they are pretty standard for the under $200 market. This monitor in particular has gotten good reviews and has 96% 4 or 5 stars at Newegg.
You might want to wait 2 weeks to see if any better deals come out for Black Friday though. If not, this price will probably still be around.
I have 2 of these side by side and they are awesome. This deal is really good. I bought mine about 8 months ago when they were $280 each with $80 rebates from office max. Got my rebates in about 5 weeks. So, 2 amazing 22" LCDs for $200 each. $165, no tax and no shipping = no-brainer.
i bought this from buy.com several weeks ago and its a great monitor for the price. no dead pixels, the only negative is no height adjustment - only tilt.
I agree this is becoming the standard price for 22" budget monitors. So far, the only monitor deals on black friday seem to be for 19" though.
#5 Did you really push the monitor at its highest resolution? That is when I find my dead pixels. Newegg policy considers 8 dead pixels acceptable. You

flash101: highest resolution? lcds only have one resolution, the native one. yeah, they'll accept lower resolutions, but with horrible interpolation. but even interpolation won't obscure dead/stuck pixels, so i'm still not sure what you were getting at.
If this is a standard price from here out, then I'll probably wait anyway. The Black Friday deals posted so far are pretty weak for LCD monitors. Most are for really cheap 19". Maybe this will be cheaper on the Monday after?
