Good little monitor, but the casing is a bit cheap if you ask me
almost half the price of similar dell hp samsung?
I have this LCD. For the price, it's really good in my opinion. I'm spoiled by the super-IPS screen on my laptop, and this can't compete with that. But this is more than half off the price of a comparable Super-IPS display. It has the typical off-angle color drop-off or inversion you get with this type of screen, but for normal sitting and working conditions, I don't have problems with the off-angle stuff. I may buy another to replace my 20" 2nd display and have a matched set.
It's $169 now at Amazon. Not a monitor for gamers, but for everybody else, very good.
Newegg has the better Acer P235Hbmid on sale for the same price, with free shipping.
While this X233Hbid is more of Acer's budget 23" screen, the new Acer P235Hbmid is a higher-end 23" screen, with better specs.
