Will CC have this on black friday <$80? They're filing the 11 so its possible. Last year my 500gb from CC cost 70.

Must be a WD drive inside -- only has a 1 year warranty.

Man, these things are getting cheap. I can't believe that I'm going to hold off on $117 for a TB. Black Friday and inventory surplus due to retailers like CC going out of business will only continue to drive these prices down.

CC isn't going out of business... not yet anyway. They filed Chap 11 which means they are asking for help from the government to reform the company. Something like that, there is a chance they'll sink but I'd rather not see it happen. The Best Buy's up in my neck of the woods are shitty stores. CC is the best option around (even though I normally just buy online).

On topic, I'm stunned they are this cheap. I wouldn't trust my data to anything besides WD or SeaGate. I'm interested in SSD stuff but I still like the longevity of physical discs. Until there is a great performance gain from SSD I think the normal hard drives will be the storage of choice
