Anyone have any experience with this?
Looks like a good tuner. Good reviews and a great price. $150 elsewhere.
Is USB fast enough to transmit tv signals? I've been looking for a tv tuner for HTPC, but haven't really considered external USB tuner. And how dependant on processor speed, memory, etc to be able to use as tivo to encode videos. I have a dell 2.4ghz 512mb ram.
This tuner is fantastic. 2 channel record during playback on media center with no problems.
Can I use this with plain 'o Win XP, or do I need an XP Media Center PC? Also, how badly does this stress the harddrive?
It looks like this only receives NTSC not ATSC, so I'm not interested. The product description isn't clear, with two standards
saying TV isn't enough these days.

Yeah this would be great if it could pick up HDTV signals. Dang.
@5 You don't need to run windows MCE, xp should be fine. I run a TV tuner with an old 5400 RPM drive, so I'm not sure what you mean by stress.
cool...I need to act fast. does anyone know what time zone buy.com is set too? The rebate is still valid in Pacific time...
doesn't look too portable.
The rebate is too much!
