Looks like the stupid keyboard used in public schools that required line of sight

Wouldn't call it "mini" but works well.

This is an RF version so works on 2.4GHz like a cordless phone. I have the older IR version that needed line of sight. Besides having to make sure it is pointing at the receiver I think it works pretty well and this model will not have that issue. It's about the size of a largee laptop keyboard so don't let the "Mini" fool you.

This is an excellent HTPC keyboard. I have been using it for almost two years and I'm very satisfied with it. It's RF (not IR) as one other poster mentioned, so it does not require line of sight. The ergonomics is pretty good, battery life is exceptional; and the keyboard is fairly well made.

This is a very nice keyboard for use with an HTPC. You can used it handheld with the trackball and gamepad-style index finger triggers for mouse clicking. However, I would not use it as a desktop keyboard, the keyboard is slow and I don't really like the feel of the keyboard, better to get a standard wireless keyboard for the desk.
