RF and good reviews. Nice.. Stay away from IR due to line of sight issues. 100ft meaningless since you will likely be within 15 feet to be able to read text well.

I have a version of this keyboard (they show up under different brands). Works excellently for HTPC; trackball and front corner index finder trigger and scroll wheel (gamepad style) allow easy and precise handheld use. I'm not sure how well the BTC will work handheld.

#2, looks like this one is comparatively priced (+/- $10). It also has a scroll wheel (left side trigger finger); and it has an extra left click button (right side trigger finger) so you don't have to keep both hands on it just to use the mouse. I'd say it's the best form factor I've seen for any htpc kb.

I've been using the BTC 9019URF I bought at Fry's ($40) for a few years now and love it. Good quality and very ergonomic. The 9019URF has a mini joystick instead of a trackball.

So for those that may not have heard of BTC, they aren't a fly-by-night company. If my 9019URF dies, I'll definitely look at another BTC in my search for a replacement.
