Now I see it with my reading glasses. My 1920x1200 15" laptop is challenging.

Brought a 150bps for $13 yesterday. In for one again, this one is 300bps for $10.

Question: maybe my specs are off, but I thought USB 2.0 is 100Mbps max...if so, how could you get 300 or even 150Mbps through this puppy?

I guess the answer is connection speed vs. throughput. Even with an 11n router and an internal 11n wifi card, I rarely see throughput higher than 30Mbps. Guess 300 is a nice advertising gimmick.

#7, your spec's are off. Internet searching is useful (iow, Google is your friend).

    #7, USB 2.0 is 480Mbps.

Are you sure that your throughput is 30Mbps, or is it 30MB/s (240Mbps)? 30Mbps is pretty slow for 802.11n wireless.

#10 480, duh. Thanks, that makes more sense.

You're right, 30Mbps sucks. Actually works fine for me in realtime (g, streaming HD video from PC to PS3 via TVersity). My hunch is that the router takes the bandwidth and divides it among all the connected systems (PS3, Wii, 3 PCs, 2 cell phones, etc.). So no single machine sees maximum theoretical throughput. BTW, I'm assuming QoS would help with internet traffic, not local area traffic in the wireless network.

#1, it probably was a "%" later corrected to '$'. I was just trying to troll a good ol' fashioned on-line slap fight. WTF is wrong with you? Are you okay?
