Check the local wally world. Few weeks ago, got the 3500 watt generator for $313, you will have tax. Claims 10 hour run time. But for $20+ might be worth it to you.

As for 2012, what good is a generator when we are all dead and the earth is done. If it is like the movie. The ARK has power, no need to bring your own.

-- I don't know why they released that movie now. What's gonna be released now in 2011 to get all this FAKE excitement up again? "2012 Reloaded?"

You're right, nothing predicts the future but the living God has *revealed* the future before it happens in His holy Scriptures, the Bible. This is the evidence that will condemn those who claim "I didn't know." They will have heard many people say, "God's Word is truth" and will therefore have no excuse for not investigating it.

After all, everyone knows they're born ignorant and don't have a clue what's going on. When someone says, "The truth is in the Bible," God's watching and listening to who's paying attention.

It's like secular law, "Ignorance is no excuse."

LOL... I can hear the people saying, "I didn't want to hear that." Conscience is a wonderful thing but sometimes it tells us things we don't want to hear.

This thing is rated 2400w (120v x 20a) continuous. Also #4, to each his own. I regard the Bible as a common-sense guide to living a decent life. I don't take it literally, and don't think the authors meant it to be taken literally, given the intended audience of that time. But again, to each his own.

    Attention Troll/Power-Poster: IWBAFWOTTL

What is a troll? It's a person who posts something which is bound to stir people up and then sits back and watches as people jump in and start arguing. Sometimes trolls get their friends to join in or post under different names. Generally they will do anything it takes to get attention. If you see a message like this, please try and refrain from replying to it - it may well be locked/deleted anyway.

Trolls are generally deceitful and may use ambivalence as a method of covertly insulting, intimidating, or inciting a person or persons for their own sadistic pleasure. They often pick their words very carefully and are therefore able to defend their masked attempts at creating unrest, often redirecting the blame onto the community and its failure to understand them properly.

There is no explicit list of topics considered to be trollish, but in the past, questions pertaining to Religion and Politics have been closed.

    POWER-POSTING

Power-posting is when members post 'useless' messages to the board, in order to simply increase their number of posts quickly. Examples of power-posting are replying to a message with only '+1', 'LOL' , 'Thanks for the heads up' or 'I agree', but failing to contribute anything further to the discussion. If you reply to a message, make sure you have something to say. Power posting clutters up the forum.

To the bible thumpers I offer my favorite quote:

"There is no fact that the true believer can not fit into his falsehood"

    I don't know who 1st wrote it.

FWIW Costco has a 7000W for $599. It powered my whole house for 5 days in February. My wife was even doing laundry.

If you were referring to my post, please re-read it- I have added the offender's name- it wasn't meant for you.

I see how you thought maybe it was, since you mentioned politics though. The other guy was not seeming to be joking though. Just regurgitating pushy religious propaganda. OR trying to start a debate. Either way this is not Church or Sunday School.
