Was looking at this type of speaker recently. Reviews so so on this one. The IHome ones seem to get better ratings and come in many more models and colors.
For the price, these are hard to beat. I bought two recently, and gave them as gifts...everyone is happy. The bass even sounded reasonably good, given the speaker size. AAA batteries last a while.
Most of the iHome stuff is a bunch of crap. Altec Lansing is quality stuff. I have the older model with this off/on twist switch. This new model is much better.
Worth the money, I own both models, they were originaly about $30.00....and they are Sold Out !
