Lots of reviews dont like the cloth cords because they make noise that reverbs through the buds.

#1 that is the same problem I have with my Ink'd Buds. But for 10 bucks, I can live with it.
#1 Interesting. I have the rubberized cord now and hate that it catches on things. I assumed the cloth cord would do better.
