I bought the ALB10W (dimmable version). It works quite well in a normal switched outlet, but doesn't like my dimmer switch, so you might as well save some money and get this one instead. Color temperature is definitely not 6500K. I don't have anything to measure it with, but based on other lights I have, it is definitely between 3000K and 5000K.
^ They seem to make them in more than one color temp, the higher/bluer producing a little more light. I don't feel it can be assumed what color temp this one is based on what you received ordering a different model #, and one 'egg reviewer wrote a comment suggesting it is a daylight (generally >5000K to 6500K range) bulb.
Other reviewers noted that at the rated lumens it is much closer to the equivalent of a 60W not 75W incan bulb, though with only a 130' viewing angle, could provide more intensity for spotlight type applications.
