    Great deal! I bought this for a new build for my brother's computer. Nothing fancy, just a basic aftermarket cooler, SSD, mid-grade video card, etc... very fast!

    I did the same but went with a Athlon 975 Black Ed. It scream. My MB supports the AM3+ chip. Will wait for these to go down to about 125 and then swap it. I am sold on AMD. Also Asrock MB's are great. They just work.

    This chip is from the Bulldozer family which is about to become obsolete in 3Q/4Q 2012 when it's replacement (Piledriver) is released.

    It is usually the best value buying recently obsoleted computer components... Using the latest and greatest software application releases is, often times, not a good idea either.

    This chip is still too pricey...
