If you live near a Microcenter, you can get a motherboard free with this processor for $110.
In the January ad I got they appear to be offering $40 toward any mobo purchase. The lowest price AMD I see is a Biostar A780L3G AM3 760G for $50 or a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P Socket AM3+ 760G that's $50 after a -AR of $10. So it appears you'll add something (min $10) for a mobo... though I wouldn't consider either for the CPU (95W if ever OC'n). I'd start with at least something like the MSI 880G-E45 Socket AM3 880G which is $75 -AR $10, so that's $35 OoP.
Awesome CPU at a good price. Microcenter and Frys are two retailers that I wish were near me.
