These processors rock. I just built one with a 975 Black Edition and it smokes. For under $450 I have an SSD booting screamer.

I can't be sure, but I think this is the processor only. The fan does not come with it.
OEM = no fan, just the CPU. It's a Black Edition and if you want to exploit that at all you'll want an aftermarket cooling solution anywhere, so. And yeah, I bought one (to replace a barely-used 720 x3 BE I got on Black Friday 2011).

great deal, i have been using this CPU, works great, not OCed.
Not bad at all, But not the best deal.. I bought three combo deal at MC three weeks ago, Phenom II x6 1045T for 99 dollars and get a gigabyte mother board for free after 10 dollars rebates. Sold all three board at 40 each. I actually paid less than 70 bucks each for a six core. Remember MC do charge State Tax.. and it not easy to find a nearest store in your area. It just happen that I was on a business trip with 3 of my co-worker. in order for me to buy three with with no problems I paid all cash..The nearest one in my area from home is hundreds of miles away..If it was not for the business trip. I would not have puchase it. Yes!. overall I got a nice deal..
They also got the Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition in retail box with heat sink fan for the same price at 99 each and also come's with a free gigabyte board after 10 dollars rebates..
