I have been buying a lot of my computer stuff from Superbiz, Amazon, Buy.com lately as over the past few years Newegg has been raising prices. If you watch Neweggs prices, they will raise the price of an item then put it on sale so that it is back to the original price....not a sale in my book. I bought this same processor 8 months ago from Buy.com as they were $13 cheaper then Newegg at the time.
Also Newegg will send you an e-mail coupon code worth so much off a type of product (like 15% off power supplies), but when you go the product list you'll see no free shipping anywhere and the prices are higher! They are getting sneaky, but we are catching on.
this is a good processor, more value than the same price thing from intel
Retail or OEM (without the fan)? This appears to be the retail black edition.
Oops, I missed that, $95 is pretty good for retail.
