Better than Bulldozer too, unless that's what you have. Good price.

Humm, I don't ever believe I've seen a rebate for a CPU that just odd, while the rebate by what I see not anything sanction by AMD so take it with a little salt. I suppose TigerD made a really good deal on a big purchase of these chip and now will unload them with the hope that 25% of the rebates they never make good on. It is weird AMD made any great deals to move these this way (though suppose they have no real say in it). Surprised there retail box and didn't have them go as OEM as Micro Center did on those 830. It is the Bacon of the day if you have been thinking of something like this it's a good deal once you get the rebate.

^ A few years back I received a rebate from a TD deal on an Intel CPU, think it was a "Pentium" core 2 duo or something.

Casecutter it's possible they are phasing out this line in favor of the new FX chips. They seem to also be aggressively pushing the A- chips as well. I doubt they would want to continue producing three different lines of procs.

Interesting though that the link "Less Rebate -$30" produces nothing. You can put the item in your cart and still see nothing about a rebate short of a message at the bottom "This Order may qualify for up to $30.00 in mail-in rebates". Hmmmm....

^ Interesting? It just looks like they screwed up the web link. The deal post link works, or it's here: http://static.highspeedbackbone.net/rebates/TD-5724%20US.pdf
