damn...but I've seen this go on sale for $6 (including rebate) often. These are very nice but be aware isn't very useful if your laptop >= 15.4" widescreen

This thing drains the laptop's battery like you read about. Also, the fans are pretty cheap, and the bearings wear easily.

i got this for free @ buy.com with rebate and GCO it's not bad at all. My laptop is 15.4 and it fits just fine and i don't carry this around only use at home with a charger so battery is not a problem. Also it has a pretty bright blue light comming out from it so it matches my laptop lightning hehe
