As someone who went from a LARGE DRY COOLER to a water cooler, I can tell you there are huge benefits.
In my case, my CPU temp dropped about 15 degrees. Went from being loud as hell to a low hum when it came to sound. The Computer used to give off heat, now it give off nothing.
#3, your computer is producing the same amount of heat under the same load no matter what you use to cool it.
I'm all for a quiet system but it really depends on what you compare it against. There are quite a few good (dry) heatpipe tower 'sinks that cool quietly in most environments, far better than Intel or AMD retail bundled stock 'sinks.
Something odd about this product is that there is no spec for performance even on Antec's site or in the manual. No degree/watt spec nor max wattage rating.
but the Fan-speed (thus the sound) was based on the heat of the CPU. With the water cooling system (without getting too technical) is taken to the cooling radiator and cooled there, dramatically decreasing the CPU temperature (according to the bios, a 15 degree drop. 45C to 31C)
one leak and its all over!
even for crazy gamers why use liquid cooling while there are large dry coolers available.

Classical thermodynamics -- heat doesn't disappear.
I overgeneralized though, it'd be producing a significant % more total heat if cooled by peltiers since they're power hungry themselves.
Thats definitely true #4, matter isnt destroyed, just changes shape, yatta yatta yatta.
