holdout on this one. you can get one (same exact one) for cheaper! a good deal would be $50 or so shipped after rebate. additionally, this case is a bit dated and lacking on features - particularly tool-less install. there are better cases now for the same price.
i'd recommend a coolermaster 690 over this one. unless you're dying for a case or are really big on airflow (which this case does offer plenty of), i'd hold out for something else.
I'd get the newer versions with fan filters.
I have never seen this for $50. This seems like a pretty good deal... if only it didn't have all the LEDs.
Microcenter has it for $89 at thier B&M stores with no rebates.
This is a great case. This case has great cooling and lots of room. I got mine back in November and the rebate didn't come in until March. 4 months is a long time to wait for a rebate. This isn't a good price. I've seen it much lower than this in the past. Also Antec just came out with a newer model the Twelve Hundred. It's huge, a full tower case with dust filters on the fans. It's about $200.00 right now but people looking at the Nine Hundred might want to consider the Twelve Hundred instead.
It was $45 in January but that doesn't make this a bad deal.
it was just $70 two weeks ago - same seller, same rebate, free shipping. how is this a good deal?
I got it for $55 after rebate in November or December last year.
This is a great case for paranoid nutjobs who think they need to run 15 fans and keep everything at 2 degrees above room temperature. Sure, a CPU or GPU manufacturer might say a chip is intended to run at 170 - 180 degrees under load, but they're all liars and we know best, right?
S Anyone who calls his PC a "rig" is a flaming douche.
I've got an Antec 300, it's great. No crappy LEDs, very quiet, almost as quiet as my P150
mind as well get the coolermaster 690 with 550 powersupply.
it's 99 on newegg I think
#6 It's a deal because people pay well over $100 for this case.
#8 The average computer user might not need to worry about temperature but an overclocker does. Also, processors max temp can be as low as 65, not 170-180 like you said unless for some reason you are talking about computer temps in Fahrenheit.
#8, "flaming douche" is a trademark of the Phoenix Douche Company
The flaming douche? Isn't that the name of the bar in the movie Road House?
This deal has come up before. $70 was the lowest I've seen it for.
I agree w/ #9
