I don't see any difference at all..other than the fact that 4 transparent fans are included with the purchase instead of two opaque fans as with the 300.
I've seen the 300 drop to 39.99 once and rest at 49.99 quite so often..

#2 - 2 LED 120mm front fans, 1 LED 140mm top fan (normally no LED).

I love my Antec and recommend it to anyone looking for a quality case. Extremely open in the cooling sense but surprisingly not very loud. I hear the sound of air passing more than the fans themselves.

Before you build, take the time to paint the front of the case behind the bezel with some flat or satin black. It will look much nicer through the front mesh, especially with the Illusion's LED fans.

Expensive as #3 said, the going deal rate for the normal version has been $55. Consider this, if you want a 3.5 external card read or such you need to purchase that separately and those are only usually through Antec.

Here's Bens history for the normal standard case.

The NXTX Tempest is $10 more –AR $20; but most say the Tempest is a better all round chassis. Comes with a window, (4)120's, (2) 140mm, removable drive cages etc.
The Shipping sux! It's showing almost $25…

#8 - this is the new version of the 300 case. add ATLEAST $30 for the 2 LED FANS on the front on top of the price of the original ANTEC 300.

I purchased two of the normal Antec 300's at Fry's, one for $34, the second for $31. Antex 12mm fans will often go on sale at Fry's for $7 each (you'll want to pick up 2 of them for the front).

These are nice cases. Lots of room and good airflow. I don't think it's woth $15.00 more to have the led fans but I guess some people do. I would go for the standard 300.

This NZXT Beta Series CS-NT-BETA-B is $40 -AR $10; free shipping.
This is a basic old school case layout with a black interior, while they say 'Screwless installation for hard drives and external 5.25" drives". I not sure if I care for the top mounted USB/Audio, and only has the one front led fan, but not the worst for the price.

#15 -- Kind of an old link but the 900 can be found if you look.

While the best price new on a 900 right now is $108 Free shipping at Amazon.
OutletPC.om is having a clearance sale and free shipping on a some of the cases. If you live near Henderson, NV (why would you) you can do an in store pick-up and save shipping.
