I guess that's cool. Take the original three hundred case and add two extra fans to the front. Also the two front fans and the top fan have blue leds. For $70.00 thats only $10.00 more than neweggs current price on the three hundred. So two 120mm fans for $10 bucks ain't bad. Even though the three hundred usually has been on sale in the $40 range. Good case.

I understand that the 300 is a pretty good case...but I just bought a CoolerMaster Centurion 590 yesterday for about the same price. I know CollerMaster has a fairly crappy reputation on most things, but it's got a 4.5 rating pretty much everywhere...I think 96% gave it a 4 or 5 at 'egg.

Should I return it and get this 300? Is it better than my 590?

#3: I don't think that Cooler Master has a bad reputation. They have a lot of good quality products under their brand.

Sorry, I didn't word that correctly. My only experience with them has been with PSU's...one of which died and took my mb and cpu with it. Even on amazon, they are pretty much middle of the road, or lower quality items. Seems like the cases are pretty highly rated, though...

Here's Ben's history for the normal standard case.
    http://bensbargains.net/history/107307

All you get are 2 fans at 10 each if you are really gong to need them it's not the worst. But it's actually an expensive case for what you really are getting.

To bad that code doesn't work with this NZXT that's $80 -AR $20 much nicer case I say. It has feature like removable HD racks, 6 fans 3 of which are led, accent lights, e-SATA, intake filters and a window.

Cooler Master RC-690-KKN1-GP is a very understated, with stylish good looks and plenty of room.
Lots of nice feature like the CPU backing plate fan, although it also would've been nice to have a cut-out to be able to change out a heat-sink backing plate along with it. Cable holders are nice, but could have been less flimsy. Don't care for the placement of the power buttons and the panel connections on top aren't for me. Lots of fan positions and HD holder are neat, however they probably impede heat dissipation as they basically insulate all sides of the HD and obstruct air flow. Neither the front fan or PSU bottom intakes have filters really dislike that, and it's really nice when PSU mounting uses the outside plate install method.

Found it for $71 at Microcenter if you live by one you can pick it up.

I actually looked at that one at Microcenter, but I really disliked the top-mounted USB, etc jacks. Just seems like it'd get dusty very easily. They didn't initially have one on display, but I saw it on the top shelf in the box. I actually made them get one down for me to look at. Same thing with the 590 I ended up buying. "You're welcome" for getting them to display these two at the Santa Clara location. Smile
