I strongly suggest you spend a few more bucks and get something with automatic voltage regulation (AVR). It has a battery backup, and filters the line voltage by converting your line AC to DC in the battery, and DC from the battery back to AC for your 'puter or stereo. Takes out the daily line fluctuations that hurt electronics.

sad thing, is this crap model is like 50-100$ at normal retailers like office deot. I like ralph's suggestion but 70$ is a bit much in comparison
