    that's not a wireless antenna... that's the power cord that was chopped off at the edge of the photo.

    why does APC charge more for this surge suppressor than they do for a UPS?

    Don't know but I was buying APC exclusively for many years until recently when 2 APC pro surge suppressor's died. One smelled like smoke. Going to shop around this time.

    #6, they typically die when encountering a large surge, like most if not all low-end consumer surge protectors would.

    #5, where do you see APC charging less than $34 for an UPS? Even then, I'll agree this product ought to cost a little less, they seem to price it as if their primary competition is Monster. Similar products in the past may have had fewer outlets but cost about half this on sale if not less.

    #1, the wireless antenna will protect all the wireless receivers in the room incase there is a surge in the output of your wireless router.

    #6 the same thing happend once to me as well, but luckily the 2 connected ups's were not affected. Just had to replace the surge suppressor at the front of the line.

    The wireless antenna prevents the government from listening in on your wireless conversations.

    You wanna be protected right, better go ahead & buy 20 of these just to be protected.

    #6 You can try tripp lite product-- Tripp lite product get great quality and wonderful service. I used them for my serious equipment and they never disappoint me.
    Trip lite product carry life time warranty - One of my TRipp lite surge protector fails after 10 year's use and the replacement arrived my home 10 days after I call them..

    CyberPower are the best. The clamp down time is far superior to APC.
