do not use the included power supply, it's junk. The 12v rail drops to around 10v even at around 250watts(which will crash your computer). Anything much higher than that just causes the power supply to shut down. The specs are completely fabricated.
A normal ATX power supply will fit in, as long as it's not longer than normal, and if your optical drives are of the shorter variety.
The OCZ StealthXStream 500watt PSU that has been on sale several times for $20 and less would probably fit in here nicely, as it's a pretty compact PSU.
Here's a review of the power supply, as well as a description of the space you'll have for your optical drives with a normal ATX PSU: http://www.jonnyguru.com/PSU/AspireXQpack/420W.html
This case is pretty nice, it's just a pity that they had to include such a terrible power supply with it.
There are some other micro ATX cases similar to this that have more space for the power supply, allowing you to use normal size optical drives with a normal sized power supply. The Ultra Microfly case is one of these, and it has been on sale before for $40 on Frys.com.
Or, if you need even more room, you might consider the NZXT Rogue. It can fit the largest graphics cards, extra-long high-wattage power supplies, and up to 4 hard drives. Plus, it has a very good cooling configuration. However, it does cost more. link: http://www.nzxt.com/products/rogue/
Wait until it drop to $69.99 (before $15 MIR) w/ FS...
I second that the included power supply is junk. Other than that, I've been happy with it.
does this use a standard Power Supply?
#4, read #1's post.
I have one of these built up for my young son, complete with the crappy PS and so far it seems to work fine using onboard video and some old Athlon X2 that was cheap at the time.
The power supply is cheap and crappy. It is not worth $65 for a flimsy case.
Cheezwiz is stupid, no sane person would load such a system to that load on the 12V rail.
Just ignore the canadian bacon boy who wants to pretend he's smart by posting generic crap he only knows as much as being able to google and recant.
Cheezwiz is an ignorant person who wings it as she goes, knowing nothing in particular but ready to google search for the laziest first few hits. Unfortunately that is a disservice to the rest of us.
Cheezwiz, get up off your ass and live a few years, earn some freakin' money so instead of pretending you know something, you can afford to actually (as amazing as it may seem) buy products, so at that point you would be who we want to hear from, owners instead of dumbasses who make random guesses based on the false assumption that if someone else wrote a review, suddenly it makes you as intelligent as the reviewer.
I vote to ban fake reviewers, cheezwiz in particular because it is all lies.
