I had one, the plastic is absolute carp. Even with a life of mostly sitting on a stand, the case couldn't resist cracking and splitting from every direction. For example, you MUST stick felt pads on the top screen bezel just to keep those standoff ridges from breaking through the wrist rest.
My replacement aluminum 13" MBP feels much more solid, hope it holds up!

yes, it is the new model. and it's gotten pretty bad reviews on engadget.com .... and no firewire or sd.
